Frequently Asked Questions

How much area does one roll cover?
Each 600mm × 5m roll covers approximately 3m².

Does it reduce road noise?
Yes. The butyl layer helps control vibration and resonance in vehicle metal panels, while the foam layer adds further separation and insulation.

Will it help regulate vehicle temperature?
The 5mm closed-cell foam helps reduce heat transfer, supporting improved comfort through warmer and colder conditions.

Can I fit carpet lining over it?
Yes. It can be covered with suitable carpet lining, plywood panels or interior trim once securely installed.

Can it be fitted to a roof?
Yes. It is suitable for clean, dry painted interior roof panels. Ensure the surface is properly prepared and roll the product firmly into place.

Is it waterproof?
The closed-cell foam construction is waterproof and moisture resistant, but installation surfaces should still be clean and dry.

Is a roller required?
A roller is strongly recommended to achieve secure adhesion and consistent contact across the panel.

Can it replace deeper insulation?
It provides a useful 5mm thermal layer, but deeper wall and roof cavities may benefit from an additional product such as Thermal Fleece.
