DS Thermal 5mm Sound Deadening & Insulation – Twin Pack

Treat larger vehicle areas with this twin pack of DS Thermal 5mm. Each flexible, self-adhesive roll combines a premium butyl sound-deadening layer with 5mm closed-cell foam insulation, helping reduce panel vibration, road noise and heat transfer in one straightforward installation.

The two rolls provide approximately 6m² of total coverage, making this pack ideal for campervans, motorhomes, cars, work vans, 4x4s and commercial vehicle conversions.

Recommended Installation Areas

How to Install

  1. Clean and degrease the painted metal surface thoroughly.
  2. Measure and cut the material to the required shape.
  3. Test-fit before removing the backing.
  4. Peel away the release film gradually and press firmly into place.
  5. Use a sound-deadening roller to remove trapped air and ensure full contact.
  6. Seal adjoining edges with suitable joint tape where required.
